2025 marked 10 years of TORQ. Just a decade ago TORQ started as a custom development shop. Today we're an enterprise PIM, DAM, MDM, and eCommerce partner delivering solutions for large enterprises all over North America.
With major platform launches, a growing client base, team expansion, and global partner events, 2025 was a year of momentum. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights.
What We Delivered
In 2025 TORQ crossed some major milestones that included:
-
Our first two Shopware launches
-
More than 10 major Pimcore launches (PIM, DAM, MDM, integrations, platform optimizations)
-
15% growth in the number of clients
-
25% team growth
While these numbers represent some of TORQ’s easy to measure successes, each also represents a client success that the team is proud of.
Growing through the EOS Model
TORQ has driven its growth following the principles of "Traction", by Gino Wickman, and the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). When we first scored ourselves, we were firmly in the "keep reading - this book will change your life" category. A few years in, we can say it has.
EOS took the culture that made our team great when we were small and gave us the tools to maintain it as we've grown. The impact has been tangible: a shared vision the whole team owns, stronger communication across every level, standardized project artifacts and reporting, better forecasting and resourcing, an evolving scorecard that provides a health check on our business, and deeper team education on the platforms we build on. Accountability isn't just a leadership responsibility; it's embedded across the organization. We're proud of the revenue and team growth, but these operational improvements are what make that growth sustainable.
Partner Events
In 2025, we attended and supported a number of Partner events, including:
-
Pimcore Inspire (Austria): TORQ presented in a session on integration between Shopware and Pimcore and was named North American Partner of the Year.
-
Pimcore Miami: TORQ also presented at the Pimcore Miami event as part of a roundtable discussion. The North American events are especially exciting as the platform expands throughout the Americas.
-
Shopware Days (Chicago): TORQ again participated in Chicago Shopware Days, meeting with Shopware leadership. This was a great opportunity to learn from and help guide the direction of the platform.
-
Shoptoberfest (NYC): Another successful Shoptoberfest – we met with existing and future clients. One of our clients (Taiga’s Andrew Hodges) presented at the event, and GME Supply and Sunny Sky Products also joined us to learn, connect, and have a little bit of fun.
-
B2B World (Arizona): This new event and association in North America is poised to become a real powerhouse in helping B2B enterprises build a community that raises all participants. A great opportunity to network, learn, and be inspired. Our friends from ECCO Supply, Sunny Sky Products, and Galco joined us here as well!
Pimcore Developer Days (Germany):
Two of TORQ’s development team participated in the Pimcore Community Developers Days event in Frankfurt. The event included a number of great speakers and was an opportunity for our developer leads to connect with leaders all over Europe. TORQ also participated in the Pimcore Partner Advisory Council , being held at the same event.
Platform Updates
Pimcore Studio launched and we have started rolling it out to clients. From both a visual and functionality perspective this is a huge upgrade for the platform and we are excited about the user experience improvements it is driving.
Shopware 6.7 modernized the core with big under-the-hood changes like a new caching strategy, major performance gains under load, and a modern admin stack (Vite, Vue 3, Pinia). It also baked in accessibility compliance by default (EAA). In short: fewer headline features, but a strengthened core at the center of your eComm.
